Nothing unique or super creative for today! Usually I would like to get really creative my first few days of the sugar detox, just to keep things interesting, but this time around I am super busy with work. I need to keep it simple this week, because I just don’t have the time available to get into the kitchen and play around.
Breakfast is Brussels Sprouts, 1/2 Onion (sliced) and 2 Slices of thick cut bacon (cut up) roasted on a stone, in the oven at 425, for about 10 minutes, or until bacon is as crispy as you like, and sprouts are as soft as you like. Because the bacon is cooking at the same time as the onion and the sprouts, I don’t bother to oil the pan.
Served with a side of 2 scrambled eggs, and a coffee with a bit of cream.
For lunch AND dinner I ate the leftover saucy pan roasted chicken, that I made on Day 1. Snacked on sunflower seeds, and spicy turkey pepperoni.
